What conditions need to be met for industrial moisture-proof cabinets

2020-08-21

Industrial moisture-proof cabinets generally store MSD objects such as chips and materials that require high moisture and oxidation resistance. On the one hand, the relative humidity requirements are high, which basically require ultra-low humidity conditions. On the other hand, in the industrial use of industrial moisture-proof cabinets, the time interval for opening and closing the door to fetch materials is relatively short. The frequent opening and closing of doors has led to high requirements for the humidity recovery speed of industrial moisture-proof boxes. What conditions need to be met for industrial moisture-proof cabinets?

1. The humidity display accuracy of the industrial moisture-proof cabinet. It is precisely because of the higher and higher requirements for the low-humidity capability of industrial moisture-proof boxes, the importance of display accuracy is more reflected. If a humidity below 5%HR is required, but its display accuracy is ±5%RH or higher, then this equipment basically cannot meet the requirement below 5%RH. Generally, the display accuracy of industrial moisture-proof cabinets will be within ±3%RH, up to ±2%RH.

2. For industrial moisture-proof cabinets, what needs attention is anti-static measures. Electrostatic discharge is the main cause of breakdown hazards of electronic components and interference to the operation of electronic equipment. Anti-static measures for general industrial moisture-proof cabinets include anti-static spraying and grounding on the surface of the cabinet. It should be noted that the anti-static spraying needs to be sprayed with anti-static powder, and anti-static paint should not be used to ensure long-term anti-static effects.

3. The humidity uniformity requirements of industrial moisture-proof cabinets. Similar to the display accuracy, if the humidity uniformity in the cabinet is low, the corresponding humidity requirements cannot be met, and all stored items cannot be well protected against moisture and oxidation.

4. Dehumidification speed of industrial moisture-proof cabinet. A big difference between industrial moisture-proof cabinets and traditional moisture-proof boxes is the increase in the number of door openings and closings. Traditional civilian moisture-proof boxes may not be opened once a day. However, the use of moisture-proof cabinets in industry has greatly increased the number of door opening and closing times. Therefore, it is necessary for the industrial moisture-proof cabinet to have a good dehumidification speed to ensure that the industrial moisture-proof cabinet can be in the required ultra-low humidity condition most of the time.
