However, when these moisture undergoes high humidity in the processing and welding process, high pressure will be generated, which will cause damage to the moisture sensitive devices during the high temperature process, which is a very serious impact. Nowadays, high-power LEDs require SMT in the process of assembling lamps and lanterns. In addition to poor welding in the process, the main hidden danger of SMT is that moisture-sensitive devices get damp, which can easily cause peeling, micro-cracks, popcorn, etc. Product quality performance, service life, increase defect rate and cost. If there is moisture, the moisture expands during welding, and the wick is prone to micro-burst, causing the inner core to break. How should LED lamp bead products be properly damp-proof and prevent the product quality from being affected by humid environmental factors?

1. The LED lamp bead products are packaged in a moisture-proof and anti-static aluminum foil bag. During the handling process, avoid squeezing or piercing the packaging bag and causing the moisture-proof bag to leak;

2. In the humid season, when the moisture-proof bag is not opened, the recommended storage conditions are: temperature ≤30℃, humidity ≤50%RH, it is recommended to store in a moisture-proof cabinet and use it within 6 months;

3. If the LED lamp beads have not been used for 6 months, it is recommended to add low-temperature baking for dehumidification before using again (recommended dehumidification conditions 60℃/24H);

4. Before using the LED lamp beads, please confirm whether the moisture-proof beads of the humidity card are discolored. If the moisture-proof beads are more than 30% or more discolored, they must be dehumidified in a low-temperature baking and drying cabinet before use (recommended temperature removal conditions: 60℃/24H)

5. When the LED lamp bead is unpacked for SMT, it is already exposed to the workshop environment. It is recommended to control the workshop environment: temperature ≤ 30 ℃, humidity within less than 60% RH.
